Jamin Burton plays lead guitar and is a lead vocalist for the Noisy Boys. He has been playing guitar since 1995, and teaches as well as performs. He has been playing with the Noisy Boys for two years. While Jamin is just 22 years old, he plays like he's been doing this for decades.
His favorite guitarists include Jimmy Page, Al
Dimeola, Stevie Ray, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Steve Howe, and Eric
Johnson. His Favorite Bands include Led Zeppelin, KingsX, Dream Theater, Yes, Widespread Panic and many more. Jamin plays a Gibson Les Paul, a Fender Strat, and various amps, included a Blackface Bassman.

Silas Burton plays bass guitar and is a lead vocalist for the Noisy Boys. He has been playing guitar since 1997, and also teaches as well as performs. He also has been playing with the Noisy Boys for two years. Silas, while only 19, has mastered many of Jaco Pastorius' solos. His favorite bass players include Jaco Pastorius, Stu Hamm, Stanley Clarke, Tony Levin, Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller, and others.
Silas plays a Fender Special Deluxe through a GK 800 head biamped to a Peavey Black Widow 18 for sub and a Hartke 2 10 transporter cabinet. |

Ken Burton plays a vintage Ludwig Vistalite kit and sings backup vocals. He has been playing since 1969, and also teaches. Ken played with progressive Western Montana rock bank Papa Tuba in the 70's, the Salem Oregon band No Lies in the 80's, and now plays with the Noisy Boys. (Jamin and Silas are his sons; his son Caleb (17) also sings with the band occasionally, as do other family members. His favorite bands include all of the above, plus Robert Cray, Robben Ford, etc. Billy Cobham, Buddy Rich, Dino Castronovo, and Alex Acuna rate among his favorite drummers. Ken owns a computer consulting business in Western Montana, and manages the Noisy Boys retail store. You can find out more about Ken at his web site, http://www.computerhate.com/. |
The Noisy Boys band covers songs by U2, the Who, the Black Crows, Led Zeppelin, SRV, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and many others, in addition to their constantly growing number of originals. Here's an example of some of the songs they do.
The band also covers classics such as Memphis, Kansas City, Twist and Shout, Big Boss Man, Nadine, and others.
